LawCare's 25 Club

The 25 Club brings together organisations and individuals who are committed to fostering legal workplaces that support mental health, prevent issues from becoming more serious, and challenge the stigma that can make it difficult for some to seek help. Members commit to giving LawCare a regular amount for three years.

Can you help everyone in the law get the support they need?

LawCare exists to support and promote mental health across the legal sector in the UK.

Our research shows that the culture and accepted working practices in law can take a real toll on mental health. We provide a place where anyone working or training in the legal sector can turn when the pressures of the job become overwhelming.

We offer direct emotional support and information to help people cope with life in law, including stress, anxiety, burnout, career worries, and many of the other challenges that can arise throughout a legal career.

What makes our support unique is that it’s tailored specifically for the legal sector. When you contact LawCare you get through to someone who has first-hand experience of working in law. We understand the legal profession and the challenges that come with it.

Join the 25 Club and be part of a community helping to build a sustainable sector where people feel supported, welcomed, and able to reach their full potential.

I was having a really tough time and felt stuck and hopeless. I now feel as though I can make it through. I want to thank you for your support.

By joining the 25 Club, you’ll help us:

    1. Meet the growing demand for our helpline, online chat and email support service, so more people across the legal sector can access timely, specialist emotional support when they need it most.
    2. Provide evidence-based resources for workplaces, including clear advice, training and toolkits that help leaders and teams create healthier workplaces, reduce pressure, and build supportive, sustainable cultures.
    3. Raise awareness about why mental health matters in law, challenging old ways of working and showing how culture, workload and day-to-day practices affect people’s wellbeing across the legal sector.

Every member of the 25 Club will receive:

You will also be acknowledged on the LawCare website (individual levels will not be displayed).

    How will your support help?

Your support helps in many ways. Stable financial backing thanks to members of the 25 Club will mean we can plan and deliver an ambitious new strategy as we look to the next 25 years. We aim to reach those who need us most, whenever and wherever they call for help. Alongside this we will campaign and advocate for workplaces that support mental health.
