Trish McLellan to become LawCare’s Interim CEO from 1 July

News

As Elizabeth Rimmer prepares to leave LawCare at the end of June, we are pleased to announce that Trish McLellan, LawCare’s Director of Engagement, will become Interim CEO from 1 July.

Trish McLellan from LawCare speaks to an audience at an event, holding a microphone and presentation remote. She stands beside a lectern with the RPC logo, with large green plants behind her, while attendees listen from their seats.

Many of you will already know Trish from volunteer meetings, training sessions and events. She has also been closely involved in much of LawCare’s work in recent years, including Life in the Law 2025, the reverse mentoring toolkit and our work with organisations across the legal sector.

Trish will lead LawCare until Mark Evans, current President of the Law Society of England and Wales, joins as CEO on 2 November.

We’re delighted that Trish will be leading LawCare as Interim CEO. She knows the organisation incredibly well and has the full support of the Board. LawCare’s work will continue as usual over the coming months. We’re looking forward to welcoming Mark in November, but until then we’re in very safe hands with Trish and the team.
