The 10 October was World Mental Health Day, and LawCare highlighted the importance of mental health in the workplace, particularly how relationships with colleagues affect our wellbeing. LawCare also focused on support staff in the legal sector, such as those in business services, HR, IT, and admin. These individuals are essential the functioning of legal firms but often face mental health challenges that go unnoticed. As burnout and stress become more common in the legal sector, it's crucial to better support everyone’s mental health.

To tackle these issues, LawCare offered two free webinars to support mental health and build healthier work relationships. The goal was to provide everyone with the tools to better handle work challenges and to create workplaces that prioritise mental health.

👉 Spotlight on relationships at work webinar (8 October)

The first webinar, took place on Tuesday 8 October, and explored how our earliest relationships shape our interactions at work and impact our mental health. Led by Lawsight, a team of psychotherapists with a legal background, this session offered insights into managing workplace relationship dynamics for better mental wellbeing.

Satpal, from Lawsight, has also written an article about this topic. Read the article on the LawCare website: Spotlight on relationships at work
